The Specialist I Licensing (Licensed Contractor of Record) is the designated licensed professional responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance across all utility electrical and telecommunications construction projects. This role provides technical oversight manages permit requirements and ensures adherence to all relevant codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the official Licensed Professional of Record ensuring compliance with licensing laws.
- Review authorize and manage permit applications.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Oversee installation maintenance and repair of electrical utility and telecom systems.
- Conduct field inspections and ensure safety compliance.
- Provide leadership and training to field crews.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active state-issued professional license Texas Electrician.
- Experience in electrical construction utility work or telecom installation.
- Strong knowledge of NEC NESC and state codes.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings.
Preferred:
- Experience with underground and aerial utility operations.
- Familiarity with permitting workflows and construction documentation.
