JOB SUMMARY This position serves as the first point of contact at the front counter and on the phone for U.S. Passport Voter Registration and Election customers. The Deputy Clerk Assists management and staff in the conduct of all Elections and Passports Division activities. Successfully completes required trainings and supports division operations to maintain compliance with governing statutes policies and guidelines.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (AS21) The following minimum qualifications are required for this position:
High School diploma or GED; AND
4 years of professional work experience in general office or administrative support
An equivalent combination of closely related education and experience may be accepted. Please note candidates must have at least six months of actual work experience to be considered as equivalent.

Valid Oregon Drivers License or ability to obtain.

Some election and passport acceptance experience.
Experience in Oregon Voter Registration System and Helion receipting.
Knowledge of and experience with the operation of office machinery computers and software such as Microsoft Office products.
