Your new role
Supportthe Data Governance Manager to define and deliver the EO data governance strategy roadmap andoperatingmodel ensuring risks areanticipatedand mitigated.
Own and run core governance processes (policy embedment accountability model glossary/CDEs lineage waivers/UDA governance) producing clear MI and metrics for governance forums.
Maintain quality documentation ofend-to-endgovernance processesand ensure regulatory alignment (e.g. Solvency II).
Translate business needs into actionable governance requirements; specify and implement process and platform changes; embed outcomes into BAU.
Build strong relationships across business and technology through effective verbal and written communicationtailoringmessaging to business and technology audiences.
Coach Data Owners and Stewards and support project teams with practical guidance and SME input.
Develop and deliver awarenesstrainingand communications to lift data literacy and adoption across EO.
Monitor industry best practice (e.g. DMBOK) internalpolicyand regulatory requirementschampioning a culture of accountabilitycollaborationand continuous improvement.
Support Data Governance team members across all DG activities.
One of these roles willberesponsible forthe continued rollout and adoption ofCollibraincludingworkingclosely with theProduct team to define operating modelsand design and develop workflows.
About you
Strong experienceoperatingin complex regulated environments ideally with insurance or Lloyds market exposure.
Solid understanding of Data Governance best practices and industry frameworks such as DAMA and DCAM.
Proven ability to autonomously lead key activities such asidentifyingCritical Data Elements in complex data environments.
Practical experience designing and enhancing governance services (policy adoption Data Catalogue/CDE frameworks ownership & stewardship lineage).
Ability to prioritise work effectively and deliver to deadlines in afast-pacedenvironment.
Experience leading or supporting team members and contributing to a collaborativehigh performingculture.
Excellent communicationfacilitationand presentation skills able to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
Capable of producing clear concise MI and metrics and confident presenting into governance forums.
Strongly desirable: Deephands-onCollibraexpertise including operating model design workflow development and training delivery.
