Senior Manager Communications - Tech and ProductLocation: Bentonville AR
Walmart is a people-led tech-powered company and were searching for an experienced tech and product communicator who wants to be at the center of it. Youll position Walmart as the leader of the next era of retail highlighting our use of emerging technologies likeAgentic/GenAI/AI to drive this transformation.
As a member within our communications team supporting both Walmart Global Tech and our AI Acceleration Product and Design organizations youll drive 360-degree communications strategies for supply chain tech associate tech and InfoSec. You will tell multi-faceted stories about how our technology and product drives meaningful business impact.
About the team:
The Global Communications team bridges people and technology to advance Walmarts vision as a people-led tech-powered company. Collaborating closely with technology and product leaders the team crafts clear impactful narratives that enhance understanding and engagement across internal and external audiences. This group plays a key role in strengthening Walmarts technology reputation and supporting its transformation journey. Members focus on strategic communication innovation and partnership to drive business goals while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and integrity. The team values collaboration adaptability and effective storytelling to support Walmarts evolving global initiatives.
What youll do...
- Create bold strategy for cohesive storytelling utilizing owned and earned channels to reach internal and external audiences
- Partner with the extended communications team tech and product leaders and stakeholders to source compelling stories that drive thought leadership
- Communicate with brevity and purpose making complex topics simple and easy to understand regardless of format
- Think differently seeing around corners and connecting dots to tell richer stories that reinforce technology thought leadership
- Modernize the way we communicate constantly testing new ways to make an impact
- Collaborate across global communications team members improving culture and ways of working
What youll bring:
- You have worked in tech or product comms both in-house and at a big agency
- Confident storyteller creative thinker and innovator energized by shaping the technology narrative of a Fortune 1 enterprise
- Strong relationships with national technology and business media with the ability to define and protect stories through media relations
- Success navigating highly matrixed organizations and able to gain consensus among large groups
- Extremely high standards and care about the details
- Proven track record of exceeding goals and expectations moving with speed and flexibility

Bentonville Arkansas US-30011: The annual salary range for this position is $90000.00 - $180000.00
Sunnyvale California US-11349: The annual salary range for this position is $117000.00 - $234000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
