We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) in Los Altos California for a well-regarded senior living campus that includes a skilled nursing component.

This opportunity is ideal for a proven DON or a strong ADON ready to step into a senior clinical leadership role within a small but complex SNF operating as part of a larger upscale campus. Leadership is highly selective and focused on long-term fit professionalism and clinical can expect a salary of around $150000 per year depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with experience in skilled nursing leadership
• Proven ability to lead nursing teams in a SNF or post-acute setting
• Comfort operating in a smaller SNF environment with high expectations
• Strong communication skills and professional presence with senior leadership
• Experience collaborating across disciplines within a campus or multi-level setting

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior clinical authority for the skilled nursing unit
• Oversee nursing operations clinical outcomes and regulatory compliance
• Partner closely with the Executive Director and Administrator to support campus goals
• Lead mentor and develop nursing staff in a quality-driven environment
• Support short-term rehab admissions and collaborate with referral partners as needed
• Ensure clinical systems and processes are effective and sustainable for a smaller SNF
