Title: .NET Cloud Developer

Location: Saint Paul MN (Remote)

Duration: Long Term

The project we are seeking a resource for is:

• The Minnesota Department of Information Technology Services (MNIT) partnering with the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) is seeking one full-time resource to build and support the READ Act application and system.
• MDE will be working to offer an online data submission process that will be inclusive of the submission of the Local Literacy Plan.
• The current application was implemented through a vendor solution survey to collect the literacy data.
• The current requirement is due for the school submission of Reading Assessment Dyslexia and Trained Professionals.
• This set of technical requirements focuses on the current Phase which is a green field application.
• This involves creating APIs and integrating them into a robust front-end UI meeting the standards for accessibility.
• We have several applications and were building the Read Act application in a .Net-based Entity framework with using react as the front end.
• Previously we have built similar applications 8 React Chakra UI 2 and will continue to do so. Currently were building the application from scratch.
• Also were transitioning from Legacy technologies to Microsoft Azure Cloud-based solutions there might be some effort spent towards setting the application up for easier migration to cloud.
• Were looking for a software developer who will be able to assist with the above project work.

At a high level we are seeking an experienced developer to join our existing development team and accelerate the delivery of the READ Act application:

• Analyze technical requirements and produce comprehensive high-level and low-level design documentation.
• Develop an intuitive and responsive user interface aligned with business requirements.
• Ensure the application meets accessibility standards (WCAG compliance) to provide an inclusive experience for all users.
• Leverage expertise 8 Entity Framework/ORM React Chakra UI 2 and SQL Server to build a scalable and secure application.
• Design and implement APIs to enable seamless data exchange between the database and UI including support for data modification.
• Apply strong problem-solving skills to deliver creative efficient solutions at an accelerated pace.
• Collaborate with the existing developer to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Demonstrate strong collaboration and teamwork skills by working effectively with cross-functional teams including developers QA business analysts and project stakeholders.
• Assist the QA team with testing activities including writing and executing test scripts.
• Write optimized SQL queries and work with modern technologies to enhance application performance.
• Deploy applications to cloud environments and coordinate with testing teams to validate functionality and performance.

MNIT is seeking a .NET Cloud Developer. Per the work order the candidate must meet the following qualifications:
