Key Responsibilities

Maintain strict confidentiality in all client matters.

Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and business entities.

Calculate and prepare estimated tax payments for individuals and businesses.

Research tax issues and provide well-supported conclusions and recommendations.

Respond to IRS and state tax authority notices in a timely manner.

Develop a thorough understanding of clients businesses and financial objectives.

Identify potential ethical independence or conflict-of-interest concerns and escalate as appropriate.

Utilize tax software workflow systems and internal procedures effectively.
-
Adhere to established firm processes quality standards and best practices.
-
Produce accurate compliant work in accordance with taxing authorities GAAP and firm policies.

Demonstrate knowledge of IRS Circular 230 and the AICPA Professional Code of Conduct.

Participate in firm-sponsored initiatives community events recruiting and networking activities as applicable.
Qualifications

Bachelors degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited institution.

Degree in Accounting or Business Economics preferred or actively pursuing a professional certification.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Strong written verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

High level of accuracy organization and attention to detail.
