The Practice Coordinator works as a member of the assigned department team to design and implement quality improvement addition the Practice Coordinator works in conjunction with the Practice Manager to organize departmental responses to complaints and facilitates process improvement and customer service as needed and identified by the Chair FPA Physicians Administrative Director or Practice Manager. This individual reports to the Practice Manager.
1. Develops and implements tools for assessment of quality and service. Assure timely collection of weekly material for FPA Leadership Committee.
2. Coordinates all aspects and functions of the FPA Leadership Committee.
3. Assists the Practice Manager with patient rounding coordinating all efforts in conjunction with the FPA Leadership Committee.
4. Assess patient flow to assure the departments patient population is being adequately serviced to their satisfaction.
5. Monitors and manages all front desk staff to assure the principles of AIDET and all departmental policies are being applied to all patient encounters.
6. Assists the Practice Manager in tracking and analysis of satisfaction surveys mystery shopper and ACD reports.
7. Coordinates responses to patient and physician complaints. Investigate and draft written responses to patients and physicians.
8. Develops training programs for Front End staff when appropriate to assure our patients receive the best possible customer service.
9. Assists the Practice Manager with staff support including but not limited to ordering supplies addressing facility issues identifying possible HR problems.
10. Other duties as assigned
