Job Summary
This is a remote position.
We are looking for an experienced Azure Databricks Platform Engineer to join a large-scale mobility analytics project.
Design and manage robust cloud-based data engineering solutions within an Azure environment.
Oversee the administration and scaling of the Databricks platform to ensure optimal performance.
Build and maintain efficient data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Spark.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions focusing on Terraform for environment management.
Establish and refine CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and integration processes.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional data engineering and platform teams in an agile setting.
Ensure security best practices are integrated throughout the data platform and infrastructure.
Requirements
Proven experience in Databricks Platform Management and administration.
Strong background in data engineering with proficiency in SQL Spark and Python.
Deep technical knowledge of the Azure ecosystem.
Experience with Terraform Git and modern CI/CD workflows.
Ability to solve complex technical problems and communicate solutions effectively within a team.
Familiarity with Data Mesh concepts and security-first development is highly desirable.
Fluent English
Eligibility: Residency in the EU EEC UK or Switzerland.
