Job Description Civil Engineer
Job Overview
The Civil Engineer will support project execution by coordinating site activities monitoring progress and ensuring compliance with project schedules safety standards and quality requirements. The role involves close coordination with internal teams clients consultants subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth day-to-day site operations and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and monitor project progress schedules and daily site activities.
Liaise with clients consultants subcontractors and suppliers to ensure effective communication and workflow.
Prepare submit and follow up on project documentation reports method statements and site submissions.
Assist the Project Manager in site coordination planning and execution of works.
Track materials manpower deployment and work progress to meet project timelines.
Attend site meetings prepare minutes of meetings (MOM) and follow up on action items.
Ensure all site activities comply with approved drawings specifications safety standards and quality requirements.
Support site inspections audits and coordination with relevant authorities when required.
Essential Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Relevant site or project coordination experience in civil or construction projects.
Familiarity with construction practices and site operations in Singapore is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Strong coordination communication and interpersonal skills.
Good understanding of Singapore construction and site workflow.
Ability to multitask prioritize work and operate independently under minimal supervision.
Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel Word Outlook).
Basic understanding of project documentation reporting and site procedures.
Attention to detail with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
