About the Role:
The Territory Sales Representative will play a critical role in driving business growth within a designated territory focusing on the residential sector with a core emphasis on high-rise contractors. This role is dedicated to promoting our innovative engineered products and solutions to contractors engineering firms distributors and end-users. Youll be at the forefront of developing relationships driving sales and supporting our local distribution network to achieve success in the residential construction market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Client Relations: Drive sales by promoting our products to high-rise contractors specifiers developers distributors and end-users. Build and maintain strong long-term relationships to support repeat business.
  • Market Strategy & Planning: Conduct residential market research to identify opportunities gather competitive intelligence and develop informed sales strategies. Collaborate with your manager to set and adjust sales objectives and forecasts based on market trends.
  • Project Development: Identify and pursue high-impact construction expansion and retrofit projects particularly within the high-rise residential sector.
  • Promotional Activities: Plan and execute targeted promotional efforts such as presentations site visits regional shows and training sessions to showcase the benefits of our products.
  • Distributor & Team Collaboration: Strengthen distributor networks to ensure superior customer service while working closely with inside sales engineering and support teams to provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Pricing & Specification Management: Ensure quotations are accurate and aligned with client needs. Refine client specifications to optimize the fit for our products and follow pricing guidelines recommending special pricing as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and communicate training needs to management. Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance processes.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on activities market trends progress and expenses as required.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Industry Knowledge: 2-5 years of outside sales experience ideally in residential construction or high-rise projects. Familiarity with piping plumbing or HVAC systems is highly preferred but not required.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to interact effectively with high-rise contractors developers and distributors fostering long-term relationships.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills along with mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with a diverse range of customers.
  • Education: A college or university degree is preferred.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel frequently including overnight travel which will comprise approximately 30% of your schedule.

Salary: $80k (based on experience) (car uncapped commission & bonus)
