About The Centre

The leadership team values the importance of a healthy work/life balance which is shown through their effective teamwork in sharing responsibilities.

The team in Mount Druitt have on going support from their Area Manager Centre Leader Assistant Centre Leader and Educational Leader who provide adequate programming time and encourage the whole team to contribute.

You will be joining a dedicated and supportive team where your ideas input and voice is not only heard but welcomed and encouraged!

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced cook to nourish our children.

This role offers part-time hours working 6 hours per day (8:30am 3pm) Monday to Friday.

As the centre cook you will menu plan order supplies collaborate with families and educators for new meal ideas and oversee the day to day duties within the kitchen.

To be considered for this amazing opportunity you will be required to have the following:

Food Handling Certificate or Certificate in Commercial Cookery
A current NSW Employee Working With Children Check (or be willing to obtain)
A passion to work with children and work in a collaborative environment
Good communication skills and an ability to build relationships with children and families
