Collaborates throughout a defined stakeholder network (usually within same department and covering lower Tier levels such as operational teams project leads and subject matter experts) to execute business engineering processes and analyze data to identify process improvements. Coordinates the consolidation of data sources/input critical to report creation or management reviews.
Focuses on assignments; gets clearly defined tasks from own manager stakeholders or a senior business engineer in the implementation of business engineering processes improvement projects or analytics reports. Works under supervision.
Managing the health and operational excellence of GOCs dashboards. Handling all the data execution in the background via collaboration with central teams.
Supports calculations related to well-defined quantitative models and trend analysis. Collects and validates information from several input sources (E.g. FTE data labor hours Cycle time).
Supports the preparation and execution of resource management reviews (e.g. blueprint revisions norms reviews Total Annual Plan)
Supports the preparation and execution of performance reviews ensuring all information is consolidated and available on time. (Example: GOC OST ticket performance.)
Supports analysis and calculations of performance metrics using multiple sources and datasets.
Creates and visualizes performance/trending/gap analysis/ad hoc reports.
Can support stakeholders requests with dashboards/business intelligence solutions (e.g. Excel Power BI Spotfire)
Analyzes data related to performance indicators identifies trends and bottle necks and provides insights into opportunities for improvement. Validates data quality with support of experts closer to the processes/sources (e.g. SAP)
Supports process specialists and experts in documenting and maintaining standards connected to Business Engineering processes (e.g. norms L5)
Creates and maintains work instructions for own scope and ensures they are available in standard document management tools (e.g. Sharepoint ARIS).
Participates in the implementation of improvements by providing analytical support. Works under guidance of project lead. Has limited experience with project management methodologies (E.g. ASML PM Method SCRUM/Agile PMI DMAIC etc.)
Supports business case calculations to translate specific metrics into project benefits. Keeps monitoring them throughout time.
Supports lean experts and other stakeholders in combining data analytics with CI tools (E.g. VSM Daily Management Hoshin Kanri Problem Solving tools A3/4C). Has basic knowledge of the fundamental concepts of Lean and Six Sigma (white belt or yellow belt level). Supports problem-solving teams in reviewing and validating process improvements.
Has basic understanding of the strategy and priorities of own department. Is aware of all business engineering processes within scope. Has limited practical experience with processes KPIs tools and systems within own department and other allocated departments.
Keeps own stakeholders up to date regarding requests and progress.
Is aware of different communication channels (e.g. meetings trainings workshops presentations).
Contributes and supports in setting up workshops and trainings.
Prepares input for presentations at senior levels.
University degree in Information technology Engineering Industrial Engineering Operations Supply Chain Management or Business Administration. Bachelor degree with no/limited experience.
Has professional knowledge of theory and practices of operations data analytics business management. Able to master coding well.
