We are seeking a licensed Architect or Project Architect with healthcare experience to join our growing hospital group.
This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from small to mid-sized assignments to large-scale initiatives such as a behavioral health facility. The position is designed for professionals who thrive in balancing in-house design work collaborating with larger architecture firms and managing life safety compliance and documentation requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously typically 2030 active projects at a time.
- Lead design efforts for healthcare-related facilities including documentation and code compliance.
- Collaborate with nurses doctors draftsmen engineers and interior/project managers.
- Oversee construction documentation life safety plans and interior selections.
- Ensure adherence to NFPA codes Joint Commission standards and other healthcare regulations.
- Report directly to the Director operating with trust and limited supervision.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Licensed Architect or eligibility for licensure in Texas (reciprocity accepted).
- 5 years of experience running projects including at least 3 years in healthcare design.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of REVIT is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage client relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
- Candidates requiring visa sponsorship will not be considered.
