As a Setup Person for Powered Hand Tools you will be essential in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our operations. Your expertise will be critical in analyzing work requirements prioritizing tasks and implementing processes that enhance efficiency. You will be responsible for cleaning setting up and maintaining a variety of specialized external tools ensuring they function properly and meet Boeing specifications. Your attention to detail will be vital as you perform visual and functional checks on tools troubleshoot any issues and manage inventory effectively. Additionally you will assist production teams in selecting the appropriate power equipment for various jobs ensuring that all tools are in optimal condition for safe operation.

Position Responsibilities:
Analyze work in the area determine priorities and sequence tasks based on customer requirements.
Develop update and implement processes and procedures as required.
Clean set up maintain and perform minor repairs on specialized external tools per Boeing specifications and Hole Set-up Pre-Sheets (HPSS).
Clean and adjust sealing equipment to ensure proper functionality.
Perform visual and functional checks on tools and accessories inspecting for damage.
Select install and adjust cutting tools bushings guides and locators for powered hand tools and load program information using precision measuring tools.
Investigate and troubleshoot power tool problems to determine causes of malfunctions and recommend improvements.
Receive tools equipment and supplies to support the shop logging in receivables using various computer programs.
Assist production in determining the correct power equipment for jobs and conduct necessary tests.
Manage inventory of tools shop supplies and materials auditing periodically for accuracy.
Arrange for the loan of tools and equipment as required.
Send power tools to the tool repair area for maintenance and repair of internal drive and feed mechanisms.
Use and update various information systems to perform assigned tasks and maintain thorough inventory recording and control systems.
Inspect the contents of toolboxes.
Train and assist other employees with functions methods and procedures by sharing information and answering questions.
Physical Demands and Potential Hazards:
Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs.
Engage in various movements such as reaching handling turning twisting lifting lowering climbing balancing bending kneeling crouching and squatting.
Work in environments that may involve contact with metals solvents and coolants.
Operate in proximity to moving parts and tools sharp cutters and potential slipping hazards.
Adapt to varying noise levels and atmospheric conditions.
Utilize personal safety gear to protect face/eyes hands/arms and feet while performing job duties.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications:
1 year of experience working with precision measuring tools.
1 year of experience working with powered hand tools.
1 years of experience as a machinist mechanic or other mechanical aptitudes.
1 years of experience working with detailed work instructions or reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings.
1 years of experience working with safety and quality processes and procedures
Experience working with Microsoft Office (Outlook Excel Word PowerPoint).
Possess a valid drivers license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Inventory Management

Typical Education & Experience:
