Job Summary
- Door-to-Door Sales: Prospect neighborhoods knock on doors and engage homeowners in conversations about upgrading their internet service. Demonstrate Astounds value through quick pitches handling objections and closing deals on the spot or via follow-ups.
- Tabletop Event Sales: Set up and staff promotional booths at local events trade shows or community gatherings. Attract foot traffic qualify leads and convert attendees into customers by showcasing demos bundles and special offers.
- Lead Generation & Follow-Up: Build your own pipeline through cold outreach networking and referrals. Use provided marketing materials apps or CRM tools to track prospects and close sales efficiently.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on Astounds home internet plans speeds (up to 1 Gig) pricing and promotions to tailor solutions to customer needs (e.g. streaming gaming remote work).
- Compliance & Reporting: Adhere to local canvassing laws represent Astound professionally and submit sales reports via our easy-to-use portal for commission payouts.
Requirements
- Experience: 1 years in sales preferably door-to-door direct sales or event-based roles (e.g. telecom solar insurance or retail). Proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets.
- Skills: Strong communication and persuasion abilities; comfortable with rejection and high-energy environments. Self-starter with excellent time managementmust be reliable and results-oriented.
- Requirements: Valid drivers license reliable transportation and ability to work outdoors in various weather. Basic tech savvy for using sales apps/tablets. Must pass a background check. No formal education requiredsuccess here is about grit and drive.
- Preferred: Existing network in residential areas or event circuits; familiarity with home services or telecom products.
- Competitive Commission Structure: Earn generous commissions per new customer activation depending on plan/bundledetails provided upon onboarding). Bonuses for volume milestones referrals and upsells.
