The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has an exciting opportunity within our Enterprise Performance and Project Management Office (EPPMO) as aSenior Organizational Change Management (OCM) Specialist.(two positions).

Do you have a desire and talent for helping people understand and embrace significant changes in the workplace Do you have a passion for developing the knowledge and ability people need to adopt new business processes and ways of work successfully The DNRs EPPMO is seeking skilled and energetic individuals to develop and implement deliverables in the areas of journey mapping business requirements readiness and impact analysis communication plans and activities survey methodology visual management dashboards partner engagement coordination training learning and reference materials and facilitation support for OCM activities such as change agent networks information sessions and user experience sessions. This role ensures that the people side of change advances in alignment with project timelines and that agency readiness is visible measured and well-supported.

Duties

Responsibilities:
Develop and execute OCM deliverables and support agency readiness. Produce the technical OCM deliverables that support agency-wide readiness for significant change to business practice and processes. Support communications and engagement activities. The incumbent drafts and prepares communications for targeted audiences based on OCM plans and agency needs. Facilitate logistics OCM meetings and engagement events and activities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in public administration technology business administration or a closely related field;
    OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Two years of experience in business analysis and developing requirements organizational change and/or performance management.
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency in two or more or a combination of the following areas:
    • Organizational change management
    • Project management
    • Performance measurement/management
    • Business analysis and requirements development
    • Continuous improvement
    • Preparing and presenting effective and accurate analysis narrative statistical and graphical reports
  • Demonstrated experience using schedules timelines and other graphics to report status and stay on track.
  • Experience creating work plans proposals briefings and trainings.
  • Experience creating establishing monitoring and measuring work plans and working with others to enhance and enable work plan implementation.
  • Experience breaking down sorting and synthesizing information identifying trends and key themes forming accurate conclusions and displaying them through charts and graphics and developing appropriate action steps and recommendations.
  • Improve and streamline work processes beyond the specific assignment focusing on outcomes and taking calculated risks - flexible and able to embrace challenges and change.
  • Organize multiple assignments and produce work products that are accurate thorough and on-time.

  • Perform assigned duties in a manner consistent with applicable laws regulations and public records retention and requests are followed.

Special Requirements and Conditions of Employment:
  • Standard office environment with an open/low wall environment. Some bending/lifting/reaching to set up and take down workshops.
  • Occasional travel to other DNR locations and state agencies may occur quarterly. Travel may be necessary in inclement weather depending on the time of year.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Organizational change management and/or project management training and certification.
  • Advanced skill level/proficiency with Power BI Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Visio.
