Job Summary

As part of the Transformation Management team youll help orchestrate the change agenda that powers WBs growth strategy: delivering a distinctive banking experience and building longterm partnerships with our clients. We align the delivery organization on shared objectives steer the longterm WB transformation roadmap and continuously improve the endtoend delivery engine. We also provide consultancy process expertise portfolio steering and change execution - ensuring that change is not just planned but realized.

Youll join a community of 200 specialists within the WB Transformation Office working across digitalization change regulation customer data and capital deployment to deliver consistent transformation across all WB business lines. Youll be part of the Process Expertise Services Team the engine behind ING Wholesale Bankings seamless digital and compliant processes. About the role

As a Senior Process Expert you play a key role in designing improving and governing end to end processes and customer journeys across Wholesale Banking. You operate at the intersection of strategy regulation digitalisation and execution and work closely with senior stakeholders across business COO Digital Risk and Technology.

You combine strong analytical and process expertise with hands on delivery power guiding complex initiatives from problem definition to first time right implementation. You act as a trusted advisor facilitator and coach while independently driving initiatives that deliver measurable impact.

What youll do and work upon

  • Actively participate in the Business Architecture Expertise Team analyzing and validating new strategic business design initiatives while identifying improvement opportunities across process and journey maturity

  • Document analyze and design complex asis and tobe endtoend processes and customer journeys across WB

  • Translate and embed (new) regulatory and nonfinancial risk (NFR) requirements into processes controls and governance

  • Design implement and maintain WB process and customer journey frameworks catalogues and governance structures

  • Lead and contribute to complex process improvement and global process design initiatives including: 1) methodology selection and application (e.g. Lean Six Sigma DMAIC design sprints) 2) workshop facilitation with global crossfunctional stakeholders 3) definition of target operating models roles & responsibilities (RACI) and implementation roadmaps

  • Review challenge and shape digital regulatory and strategic change initiatives to improve: 1) customer and employee experience 2) process efficiency and scalability 3) compliance and risk control

  • Build standalone business cases quantitative analyses and improvement hypotheses using process data insights and benchmarks

  • Perform root cause analyses and translate insights into concrete prioritized improvement actions

  • Coach guide and support colleagues and stakeholders in applying a change and continuous improvement mindset

  • Act as a connector across teams domains and levels ensuring alignment buyin and sustainable adoption of new ways of working

How to succeed

You are an inspiring and approachable senior expert who combines strategic thinking with handson execution. You thrive in complex environments and are able to influence without direct authority. Were looking for someone who:

  • Has strong process expertise combined with a strategic and changeoriented mindset

  • Brings 58 years of relevant experience for example in: 1) process or customer journey management 2) change execution 3) consultancy or transformation roles

  • Has solid understanding of ING Wholesale Banking and its clients products and processes

  • Experience with multiple WB products (e.g. Lending TS FM CM&A) or domains is a strong plus

  • Demonstrates a strong customer focus and passion for improving client and employee experiences

  • Loves to challenge the status quo and translate complex problems into pragmatic creative solutions

  • Shows organizational sensitivity and is able to create buyin at all levels of the organization

  • Is naturally collaborative communicative and able to work effectively across hierarchies cultures and regions

  • Has strong analytical and problemsolving capabilities supported by quantitative insights

  • Is comfortable working in an Agile environment and with multidisciplinary teams

  • Communicates clearly and confidently in English (written and verbal) including facilitation and presentation

  • Has a Bachelors or Masters degree complemented by relevant certifications such as: 1) Business Process Modelling or BPM 2) Lean Six Sigma (Green / Black Belt) 3) Process Mining or Process Intelligence 4) Agile Customer Journey Management or Consultancy practices
