A Site Engineermanages daily construction operations ensuring projects meet technical specs safety standards budgets and timelines by supervising work solving problems coordinating teams and managing quality control from start to finish bridging design plans and physical construction. Key duties include site inspections progress monitoring material management compliance checks and reporting all while ensuring worker safety and project quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Supervision:Oversee daily construction activities ensuring work aligns with approved plans designs and specifications.
- Quality Assurance:Conduct inspections and quality checks to maintain high standards and use appropriate materials.
- Health & Safety:Enforce strict safety protocols and compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Coordination:Liaise with clients subcontractors architects and other stakeholders managing teams and allocating tasks.
- Problem-Solving:Address and resolve unexpected technical issues and site challenges promptly.
- Planning & Reporting:Prepare site reports log progress manage schedules and calculate material needs.
- Resource Management:Organize site facilities machinery and labor efficiently.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (e.g. Civil).
- Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and regulations.
- Leadership communication problem-solving and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
