What youll be doing
Reporting to the Senior Director Everyday Banking Product Management as a product portfolio leader you ultimately own your products - the brand the balances the profitability and the experience! More specifically this role is accountable for driving profitable balance and account growth of our Everyday Banking Chequing Portfolio with a focus on our newly revamped Smart Account will include leading / supporting product development and product features to maximize sales and financial results while improving our clients and employees experience.

How youll succeed
Product managementand development - Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Chequing portfolio develop strategy & roadmap and develop new product features. Oversee development options and proposals related to development or enhancements of Chequing products/services assessing the impact effectiveness and feasibility of proposed changes and making authoritative recommendations. Responsible for the overall design development and implementation of new products and product plans including contributing to the creation of business cases for new initiatives and enhancements.
Strategic planning - Execute strategic initiatives to drive portfolio growth and primary deposit relationships increase funded accounts and showcase the overall value of our product suite for our clients. Lead strategic initiatives designed to deepen relationships across single-product clients and as applicable lead go-to-market activities and drive effective implementations and achievement of business case targets.
Competitive insights - Monitor the market and competitive environment (consumer technology competition and government/regulatory agencies) and use to develop strategies and recommendations to protect / grow our portfolio and evolve our products pricing and experiences.
Client centric - Oversee all client-related feedback and escalations to ensure we are laser focused on our clients as well as considering portfolio migration initiatives (e.g. from legacy products to actively sold products).
Relationship management - Collaborate with key partner stakeholders to ensure alignment with product and strategies being implemented. Establish rapport and work effectively with internal and external partners including Account Management Acquisition Digital Technology Risk Management Marketing Finance Legal and Compliance Sales Support and other lines of businesses and business partners.

You have a proven ability to self-start net new initiatives and lead/influence team members/stakeholders to move things -depth knowledge of Day-to-Day Banking products financial services and product management experience will be strong assets.
