The General Manager (GM) provides overall leadership and strategic direction for Fords Colony Country Club a privately owned semi-private country club located within the Fords Colony residential community in Williamsburg Virginia. The club offers a full-service country club experience including championship golf practice facilities food and beverage operations events and member programming serving both members and the surrounding community.
This is a hands-on executive leadership role with full responsibility for operations financial performance and team development. The GM partners closely with Up To Par Management corporate support teams and collaborates with the communityHOA and Marriotts Manor Club while maintaining clear operational independence.
Ideal candidates bring strong hospitality leadership experience a solid food and beverage background and the ability to balance service excellence financial discipline and community relationships.
Compensation and Benefits: $100000 - $110000 per year. Full-time team members are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including:

What Youll Be Doing:
Provide overall leadership and direction for all club operations including golf agronomy food & beverage membership services and facilities
Lead and develop department heads and frontline leaders through coaching mentoring and performance accountability
Ensure consistent execution of operational standards SOPs and company processes
Maintain full P&L responsibility including budgeting forecasting cost controls and financial reporting
Strengthen and elevate food and beverage operations with a focus on service consistency quality and member satisfaction
Build productive transparent relationships with HOA leadership and community stakeholders
Partner effectively with corporate support teams to drive measurable results
Foster a positive team-oriented culture focused on continuous improvement and member experience
What Were Looking For:
Four-year degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
Minimum five (5) years of senior leadership experience in club hospitality or golf operations
Hospitality management experience with a strong understanding of food & beverage operations
Strong food and beverage operations background preferred
Demonstrated success leading operations in a semi-private or private club environment
Proven ability to balance member guest and residential community expectations
Hands-on leadership style with a track record of coaching and developing teams
Strong financial acumen with full P&L responsibility
Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to build trsut and alignment across departments corporate partners and community leadership

A stabilized engaged leadership team aligned with company processes and expectations
Consistent execution of operational standards across all departments
Improved financial performance against budget with clear cost controls in place
Elevated food and beverage service quality and member satisfaction
