Job Summary
CT Technologist (Contract)
Location:New York NY (10003)
Assignment Duration:8 Weeks (High possibility of extension)
Shift:Night Shift 58 Hours (12:00 AM 8:30 AM)
Pay Rate:$63 $75 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking an experiencedCT Technologistfor a short-term night assignment at a major healthcare facility in New York City. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CT imaging comfortable working overnight shifts and experienced with advanced imaging systems in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging proceduresin accordance withestablished protocols
- Prepare and position patients for scans ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate CT imaging equipment accurately and efficiently
- Administer IV contrast following certification and facility guidelines
- Verify patient identity exam orders and imaging parameters prior to scanning
- Review images for diagnostic quality and completeness
- Document procedures and patient information in the electronic medical record
- Maintain equipment cleanliness safety and readiness
- Communicate effectively with radiologists nurses and physicians
Required Skills & Experience
- IV Certification(mandatory)
- Strong experience performing CT imaging procedures
- Prior experience operating Siemens CT equipmentpreferred
- Familiarity with Epic EMR systempreferred
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
Certifications & Licensure (Required)
- ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist R.T.(R)
- ARRT Registered Technologist in CT R.T.(CT)
- New York State Radiologic Technologist License (DOH NYS)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- IV Certification
