Job Description
Role: Senior Accountant
Location: Cleckheaton
Salary: 35000 to 42000 (depending on experience)
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and highly respected accountancy practice in Cleckheaton. They are looking for a technically strong Senior Accountant to support their varied client base and become a key part of their friendly and collaborative team.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant role include:
Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies LLPs partnerships and sole traders (mainly limited companies)
Preparing personal and corporation tax computations and returns
Assisting Partners or Senior Managers with ad hoc project work for clients
Liaising with clients over their accounts and queries
Reporting directly to a Partner or Senior Manager with access to a team of accounts staff to support assignments
Delegating work where appropriate to provide valuable practical training opportunities
Requirements of the Senior Accountant role include:
Fully qualified (ACA CA ACCA or equivalent) preferred but happy to look at Part Qualified and QBE candidates
Strong UK general practice experience in accounts preparation is essential
