Salary Range:
$28.00 To $40.00 Hourly
Custom Truck One Source (CTOS)2370 English Street St Paul 55109

The Installation Production Technician is responsible for up-fitting and customizing utility trucks and truck-mounted equipment to CTOS specifications.

This role involves installing modifying and enhancing mechanical hydraulic and electrical systems to prepare vehicles for customer and industry-specific use. You will work hands-on with chassis bodies and equipment such as buckets diggers aerials and related components while following CTOS quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Install remove and modify truck bodies and mounted equipment
Perform chassis preparation bolting welding hydraulic plumbing and electrical wiring
Modify truck wheelbases and install or remove suspension components as required
Install and troubleshoot 12-volt electrical systems including lighting controls and power accessories
Read and follow electrical schematics blueprints hydraulic diagrams and installation instructions
Route wiring harnesses along frame rails and between drive axles
Maintain tools equipment and work area to ensure a safe and efficient shop environment
Work efficiently in a fast-paced production setting
Perform other duties as assigned to support shop operations
Electrical & Technical Skills

Strong mechanical aptitude
Experience with 12-volt electrical systems including multiplex wiring
General knowledge of electrical components such as switches relays fuses circuit breakers diodes and resistors
Experience with hydraulics vehicle assembly welding and general mechanics is highly preferred
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Required Skills and Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
Valid Drivers License
Basic computer navigation and software skills.
