PALS Inc. is a trauma-informed company providing services for adults with intellectual Disabilities in Santa Barbara Los Angeles and Ventura counties. We are currently seeking a professional to provide full or part-time hours as theBoard Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for our Santa Barbara day program office as well as for our residential facility located in Carpinteria.
Were seeking a compassionate and skilled clinician who is familiar with and/or willing to learn about the philosophy and practice of person-centered care. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Your service area will we the Santa Barbara and/or the Carpinteria programs. We Some work may be performed remotely. Some driving required.
What Youll Do
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs)
- Create and oversee individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
- Train and support direct support staff and caregivers
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (e.g. case managers nurses therapists)
- Monitor data and outcomes modifying interventions as needed
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards
What Were Looking For
- Active BCBA certification
- Masters degree in ABA Psychology Education or related field
- At least 2 years of experience with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Experience supporting individuals with trauma preferred
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
