Job Summary

Ravenswood is a Uniting Church Prep to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls located on Sydneys North Shore. Ravenswood offers both the HSC and the IB Diploma Programme as well as the PYP in the Junior School. We are seeking a dynamic community - minded Service Learning Coordinator who can ignite passion purpose and engagement in social justice across the Ravenswood community. Grounded in the values and ethos of the Uniting Church the Coordinator will cultivate a vibrant culture of service empowering students to take informed and compassionate action through a dynamic P - 12 Service Learning program.

Working collaboratively with staff students and community partners the Coordinator will lead the development of a whole school scope and sequence for Service Learning and build sustainable partnerships that offer authentic opportunities for meaningful engagement. This role plays a key part in advancing the schools strategic priorities in community engagement and social justice strengthening Ravenswoods commitment to nurturing empathetic active global citizens.

To be successful in this role you will bring a deep commitment to social justice along with the experience leadership and vision needed to embed Service Learning across the school. You will work within the framework of Positive Education fostering a compassionate connected and outward looking school culture.

This full time permanent position includes a teaching load and the successful applicant will also demonstrate teaching excellence within their Key Learning Area.
