Philosophy Instructor #2640

The Department of History Humanities and Languages is looking to fill a full-time Philosophy Instructor position starting in Fall 2026. Responsibilities include but are not limited to academic advising participation in planning and revising curriculum maintaining office hours teaching varying schedules at a variety of campuses using technology in instruction and employing a variety of teaching methods.

This position requires a masters degree in philosophy OR a masters degree with 18 graduate semester hours in philosophy.

Experience teaching at the college level and the demonstrated ability to work as a member of an academic support team is preferred. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential. The candidate must be willing to teach in-person at multiple locations develop and teach online courses and be able to function in a fast-paced environment characterized by continuous changes in information technology.

Salary is commensurate with education and experience with a minimum starting salary of $80000.
