Join Oshkosh Aerotech as a MaintenanceRepair Technician (MRT) whereyoullbe essential inmaintaining troubleshooting and repairing Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBBs). YOUR IMPACT
These duties are not meant to beall-inclusiveand other duties may be assigned.
Troubleshoot mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic issues.
Log detailed maintenance data into the CMMS.
Maintain and troubleshoot Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBBs)
Operate equipment such as forklifts golf carts and company vehicles.
Comply withcompany safety program and trainings.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High SchoolDiploma or GEDequivalent.
Valid DriversLicense.
Ability to obtainandmaintainnecessaryairportsecurity clearances.
Basic to intermediate mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic repair skills.
1 years experiencein the area ofmaintenance operations.
Flexibility towork variable shifts including nights weekends and holidays
PREFFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with 480V and 3-phase motors.
Familiarity with Airport operations.
Intermediateunderstanding of PLC Control systems
Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
Proficient in word processing spreadsheets project management tools and CMMS software.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties ofthe MaintenanceRepair Technician the employeeis regularly required tostand; sit; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop kneel crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee isfrequentlyrequired to climb or balance and work in small spaces. Ladder work. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to50pounds. Ability to work in outside weather conditions on an airport ramp aroundaircraftsand the confined areas of baggage conveyor systems. Specific vision abilities required by this job include goodclose proximityvision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Good hand / eye coordination is.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment issimilar toairport operation with vehicular traffic. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts high precarious places outside weather conditions fumes or airborne particlestoxicor caustic chemicals cold and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Employees will work on an airport ramp aroundaircraftsand around heavy equipment.
