Reporting to the Manager Client Development and collaborating with the Client Development & Marketing Team the Client Development Coordinator will support the implementation of firm-wide business development strategies within the Corporate Group. This role will contribute to a range of initiatives including conducting research preparing market recognition submissions developing pitch materials and presentations responding to RFPs managing marketing content coordinating communications supporting events and sponsorships and driving general business development activities. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of practice-specific departmental and firm-wide priorities to ensure all efforts align with and advance the firms strategic objectives.

Major Responsibilities
- Support the execution of strategic business development and marketing plans for assigned practice groups
- Maintain practice group deal lists assist with directory and award submissions and draft matter descriptions for internal and external use
- Conduct competitive intelligence research on potential clients markets industry developments and competitor activities
- Prepare market activity and client reports gathering relevant data as needed
- Assist in planning coordinating and executing client seminars major events and educational initiatives including managing guest lists in the CRM producing materials and coordinating logistics and follow-up activities
- Prepare materials and participate in practice group partner meetings
- Collaborate with the Pursuits team on RFP responses credentials and other documentation requests from lawyers and clients
- Partner with the Marketing team to update web content and client-facing materials
- Support contact management efforts including database updates development of targeted marketing lists and tracking client activities
- Perform additional duties as required to support the Client Development department
Position Requirements
Education and Experience
This position requires a university degree or college diploma preferably in business. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a professional services environment in a marketing or business development role is an asset. Equivalent combinations of education training and experience may be acceptable.
Knowledge and Skills
- The ideal candidate is a confident proactive and highly organized individual. Discretion and a strong client service orientation are essential
- Must be a self-starter and be highly motivated to handle a fast-paced environment
- A team player who also works well independently
- Extremely well organized with superb attention to detail disciplined execution and follow-through skills
- Excellent time management skills are essential
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office including PowerPoint Word Excel and Outlook
We are currently working in a hybrid work arrangement which includes a requirement to work primarily in the office and flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days per week.
Compensation
Theârange of expected compensation for this position is $52000 - $62000 annually. Compensation offered will be based on a variety of factors including job-related knowledge education skills and experience.
