Job Summary
Main purpose of the Role:
We are seeking a motivated highly detailed individual with at least 5 years of experience to join the Enterprise Risk Team and support the ongoing operational risk and resilience program of works. This role will work closely with key stakeholders and members of the London team to enhance and strengthen the firms risk management framework and resilience capabilities. Prior experience in Financial Services isrequired. Candidates with strong analytical skills and an inquisitive mindset are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Enterprise Risk team in further developing and aligning the operational risk and resilience frameworks
- Act as a trusted advisor to the London teams on all operational risk and resilience matters
- Support and coordinate ongoing resilience testing activities andimpacttolerance assessments for each of the IBS by providing detailed analysis
- Work closely with business units to ensureaccurateand detailed functional process mapping which supports the firms Important Business Services byidentifyinginter and intra-firm dependencies.
- Gatheranalyseand interpret risk and resilience data and prepare dashboards for management and reporting to risk/resilience committees.
- Assistin developingdesigningand delivering operational risk & resilience training programs promotingawarenessand strengthening risk culture
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments to ensure ongoing compliance with FCA guidelines.
- Investigate and analyse operational risk events supporting root cause analysis and remediation efforts.
- Maintain the Operational Risk Event Database (OpRED) through data collection andleveraginganalytics toprovidedeeper insights
- Track and analyse Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to provide trend analysis and insights into control effectiveness escalating issues as necessary
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strongproficiencyin data analytics tools and techniques to gather analyse and interpret complex datasets using Excel and other programming languages (SQL)
- Ability to create comprehensive reports and dashboards for senior management.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
- A willingness to learn and grow within the Enterprise Risk team.
