Job Summary
Arlluk Technology Solutions a Koniag Government Services company is seeking a Database Administrator with a secret clearance to support ATS and our government customer in Silver Spring MD. This is a hybrid position (4 days onsite 1 day remote).We offer competitive compensation and an extraordinary benefits package including health dental and vision insurance 401K with company matching flexible spending accounts paid holidays three weeks paid time off and Database Administrator will help manage and maintain the NMRC database to ensure they are operating at peak performance at minimum security risk and able to reliably support various applications and systems. The ideal candidate will also bring Power Platform experience to help NMRC maintain and create PowerBI dashboards using SharePoint and/or external data Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:Manage build and configure SQL 2016 and SQL 2019 all applicable database Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Security Requirements Guides (SRGs) are configured and applied to all production and test database servers and instances. Work with vendors (e.g. Freezerworks Rees Varonis) to deploy proprietary database technologies for back-end support and troubleshoot issues. Perform security/feature updates data dumps queries and disaster recovery in the event of a system monthly database restore for user databases perform consistency checks and verify all objects with SQL develop and manage Power BI dashboards reports and datasets for government documentation and ongoing support to stakeholders for all database servers tools and and provide feedback and recommendations on database-related tools and with System Administrators to apply SSL certs patches and updates/upgrades to servers including but not limited to Varonis Rees and with ISSM and ISSOs to resolve ACAS IAVA/IAVAM notices relevant to SQL servers. Update SOPs PPSM diagrams and documents scripts and other documentation as SQL Servers and 4 SQL databases to ensure good overall health and the Enterprise MEDIG PowerBI Dashboard including data sources data sets and report Continuous Monitoring efforts by working with IV&V personnel on STIG checks database/server access and documentation development/updates. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into solutionsSubmit a monthly projects/activities status report. Work Experience Knowledge Skills & Abilities:Candidates must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a successful background CE SQL 2019 or 2016 training certificate of completionOracle Database SQL Oracle Certified Professional Azure Database Administrator Associate or equivalent is working with Microsoft Power Platform (PowerBi Power Apps and/or Power Automate)Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholdersPossess strong analytical and problem-solving skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
