RECEPTIONIST/ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK
Job Summary
In this position you will report to Office Manager and perform administrative tasks and services to support the effective and efficient operations of the organizations business team. You will be the first point of contact for our business the ideal candidate will have a friendly demeanor strong organizational skills and an eagerness to assist customers
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Greets clients visitors and guests; determines visitors purpose and directs and/or escorts visitor to the appropriate person/location.
Answer screen and direct phone calls to appropriate staff via a multi-line phone system.
Performs basic filing and recordkeeping.
Orders and follows up on supplies for multiple locations.
Process and invoice point-of-sale transactions.
Employ and ensure specific accounting policies are followed regarding invoicing POS transactions.
Manage and reconcile daily payments including cash credit cards and checks.
Assists several in-house departments creating documents maintaining spreadsheets etc.
Assists with planning and execution of special events organization-wide.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel / PowerPoint etc.) or related software.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma/GED or related field and/or equivalent experience.
Bi-lingual (Spanish Proficient).
At least two years of related experience is required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
