RECEPTIONIST/ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK
Job Summary
Dallas Trailer Repair is seeking a highly capable Administrative & Operations Coordinator to serve as the front-of-house lead for our corporate office. This role is far more than answering phonesit is a central operational position supporting finance operations and leadership across multiple locations.
You will be the first point of contact for our business and a critical internal resource. The ideal candidate is professional organized detail-driven and comfortable handling money systems and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
This role reports to the Controller and works closely with Accounting Operations and Leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the professional front-of-house presence for the company; greet and assist clients vendors and visitors.
- Manage a multi-line phone system; screen and route calls appropriately.
- Process point-of-sale transactions in accordance with company accounting policies.
- Reconcile daily payments including cash credit cards and checks.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in invoicing and payment handling.
- Order and track office and operational supplies across multiple locations.
- Maintain organized records and digital files.
- Support Accounting HR and Operations with documents spreadsheets and reporting.
- Assist with planning and execution of company-wide events and initiatives.
- Provide general administrative support as business needs evolve.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-accountability environment
- Exceptional attention to detailespecially with financial transactions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required)
- Professional judgment and discretion
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (post-secondary coursework a plus)
- Minimum two years in an administrative office or operations role
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- Experience handling payments invoicing or financial data strongly preferred
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
