John Snow Labs is seeking a high-caliber Technical Account Executive to drive the adoption of our healthcare-specific AI and NLP software. This is not a scripted sales role. You will be selling medical language models Python libraries for clinical data and regulatory-grade de-identification tools to some of the most sophisticated technical teams in the world.
We need a rare hybrid: someone with the technical depth of a Data Scientist and the commercial acumen of a seasoned Enterprise Seller. You must be comfortable discussing LLM benchmarks and PHI de-identification logic in one meeting and navigating a complex 9-month Master Service Agreement (MSA) negotiation in the next.
Qualifications :
Who You Are
- The Technical Practitioner: You have a formal background in Bioinformatics Data Science or Healthcare Data Engineering. You can talk shop about Python libraries and model benchmarks without needing a sales engineer to hold your hand.
- The Corporate Closer: You have moved past the academic phase. You understand that a technical win is only 20% of the job; you know how to drive the remaining 80% through Legal Compliance and Procurement over a 3-9 month cycle.
- The Strategist: You are not a volume caller; you are a researcher. You know how to identify the right stakeholders within a complex Pharma or Payer organization and build a multi-threaded consensus to close a deal.
- The Professional: You are self-disciplined and thrive in a globally distributed remote environment. You represent the company with high intellectual honesty and technical accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Ownership: Manage the entire sales process from initial technical discovery and talking shop with Data Science leads to final contract execution.
- Technical Discovery: Conduct deep-dive discovery calls to understand the customers specific data challenges (e.g. patient registries clinical trial optimization or de-identification).
- Strategic Territory Planning: Build and execute a plan for your assigned territory to exceed quarterly and annual booking targets for subscriptions and services.
- Stakeholder Management: Orchestrate relationships across the organization ensuring the technical champions stay engaged while the economic buyers see the ROI.
- CRM Discipline: Maintain meticulous records and accurate forecasts within our CRM to ensure transparency across our distributed team.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10 years of professional experience in software/technology sales or machine learning/AI.
- Proven track record in B2B Enterprise Sales: You must demonstrate experience managing long sales cycles in complex high-compliance environments.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Direct experience in the Healthcare or Life Sciences industry is mandatory.
- Technical Education: A Masters or Ph.D. in a related field (Bioinformatics Computer Science Health Informatics).
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex AI capabilities into business value both in writing and in live presentations.
- Adaptability: Experience working in or with globally distributed teams.
