Werelooking for an experienced proactiveSenior SEND Advisorto play a key role in shaping and strengtheningSEND provision across Tyne CoastCollege.
This is a strategic and operational role supporting both campuses to deliver highquality inclusive practice for learners with a wide range of needs.
Youlllead a team of SEND Advisors manage complex learner cases and work closely with Local Authorities curriculumteamsand external partners to ensure our students receive effectivecompliantand wellcoordinated support.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong SEND background excellent professionaljudgementand the confidence to influence SEND practice across a large and diverse organisation.
WhatYoullDo

Lead and linemanage SEND Advisors including workload oversightsupervisionand CPD.

Manage a caseload of learners with complex or highrisk needs ensuring highquality assessment supportplanningand review.

Lead EHCP consultations and contribute to annual reviews working closely with Local Authorities and families.

Drive a consistent graduated approach to SEND and Quality First Teaching across the College.

Support the identificationapplicationand monitoring of SEND funding including High Needs (Element 3) and Adult Support (19).

Provideexpert advice to curriculum teams on statutory responsibilities reasonableadjustmentsand inclusive practice.

Contribute to quality assurancecomplianceand continuous improvement of SEND provision.

Promote an inclusive culture aligned with the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework.
