Industrial Maintenance Electrician Plastics Extrusion
Location: Springdale OH
Pay: $34$37 per hour
Shifts: 1st and 3rd (2-2-3 rotation)
Industry: Plastics manufacturing

A day in this role
Step onto a fast-moving production floor where polymer lines run around the clock. Youll begin your shift with a quick huddle review the maintenance backlog then move into proactive inspections on extrusion equipment. Mid-shift might bring a PLC fault to diagnose a three-phase motor to swap or a hydraulic/pneumatic issue to isolate. By the end of the day youve updated schematics coached a teammate and kept uptime high.
What you will handle
- Maintain and repair mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Wire replace and repair single- and three-phase motors; maintain AC/DC motors
- Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting across production equipment
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics
- PLC troubleshooting on automated lines
- Care for and optimize plastic extruders to ensure consistent throughput and quality
What you bring
- 5 years of industrial maintenance experience spanning electrical and mechanical work
- Manufacturing background; plastics or extrusion experience strongly preferred
- Expert troubleshooting skills in electrical systems; comfortable on mechanical systems as well
- Ability to read/interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
- Strong problem-solver who can work independently including on night shift
- Clear communicator with leadership and mentoring capability
