Job Summary
CDL Truck Driver (Class A or B) Lumber & Building Materials
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Hudson MA
Reports To: Store Manager / Dispatch
Koopman Lumber is hiring an experienced CDL Truck Driver (Class A or Class B) to deliver building materials to residential and commercial jobsites. This is a hands-on physically demanding role not just driving from point A to point B. Drivers are expected to load unload handle returns and work outdoors in all seasons.
What Youll Do
- Safely operate Class A or Class B trucks to deliver lumber and building materials
- Load and unload your own truck using forklifts Moffett and manual labor as required
- Deliver to active jobsites and load returns from customer locations
- Secure loads properly and inspect materials for accuracy and condition
- Communicate with dispatch using mobile apps or tablets
- Complete required logs inspections and delivery paperwork
- Represent Koopman Lumber professionally with customers and jobsite personnel
- This role requires physical effort and problem-solving its not dock-to-dock driving.
