Job Summary

The Assistant Manager Lending Technology supports the Lending Technology Manager in leading the administration support and optimization of lending technology and operational compliance platforms. This role ensures the effective operation of systems by providing direct supervision and guidance to the team responsible for system maintenance configuration and support. Key responsibilities include implementing team development initiatives driving strategic direction monitoring performance data enforcing service level agreements (SLAs) and analyzing outcomes to set clear expectations. The Assistant Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement technological solutions that align with business goals enhance operational efficiency and support compliance and member experience.

SCHEDULE

Full-Time

To be effective an individual must be able to perform each essential duty successfully:

  • Oversees team of lending technology system administrators and/or analysts

  • Accompaniesthe Lending Technology Manager in implementing team development initiatives and strategic direction

  • Supports the Lending Technology Manager inmanaging technologyand vendor projects/platforms that have lending touch points

  • Supports technology and vendor projects bydeterminingwhen to involve system administrators ensuring a smooth transition from implementation to ongoing support.

  • Assistsin the implementation and maintenance of lending technology systems including configuration testing and deployment

  • Overseessupport operations for lendingand complianceplatforms ensuringtimelyresolution of service tickets and system issues

  • Collaborates with lending leadershipoperational complianceleadershipand internal teams to align technology initiatives with business goals

  • Participates in the development and implementation of secure efficient and scalable technology solutions

  • Performs data analysis and evaluates trends toidentifyemerging risks and make recommendations

  • Works with theData Analytics andETL team to update existing processesautomate new processes and createDataVisiondashboards

  • Identifiesand implements process improvementsautomation opportunities including the evaluation and integration of ethical AI solutions to enhance operations

  • Advises on API functionality to support integrations ensuring data flow integrity and operational alignment

  • Maintains relationships with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders

  • Ensures the integrity and security ofvariouslending systems includingbut not limited toEncompass and ACES

  • Encourages collaboration among team members by breaking down silos andidentifyingopportunities for cross-training

  • Coachesdevelops and mentorsboth direct reports andlending technology team members

  • Maintainsworkingknowledge of the loan lifecycleincludingcomplianceprocessesand procedures

  • Delegatestracksandprioritizesproject tasks to ensuretimelyandaccuratecompletion

  • Provides input on system enhancements risk assessments and compliance requirements

  • Creates monthly reporting on team production andefficiency ensuring KPIs KRIs andSLAsareachieved

  • Utilizes raw datato createactionable reports

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Experience

  • 4 yearsprogressive experience working in a financial settingsystems administration or a related field

  • 3years of experience in lending technologydata analyticsproduct managementorprocessimprovement experience

  • Experience with employee-facing technology platforms

  • Exposure to agile or other software development methodologies preferred

  • Experience working in theServiceNowticketing systempreferred

Education

Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in business information systems or a related field;orthreeyears of progressive experience in a lendingtechnologyor systems administration environment.

  • Supervises coordinates and reviews the work of a subordinate group of employees (2-10)

  • Estimates personnel needs and assigns work to meettheseneeds

  • Recommends candidates for employment conducts performance evaluations reviews salary for assigned staff and applies company policy

Computer/Office Equipment Skills

  • Knowledge of lending software/platforms including end-user and administrative functionspreferred

  • Demonstrated experience with programming languages or technology used to support products and servicespreferred

  • Experience interacting within ServiceNow for issue tracking project management and system supportpreferred

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office including Outlook Word PowerPoint and Excel

Language Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to clearly express ideasmethodology results and recommendations verbally in writing and through insightful reports and graphic illustrations

  • Demonstrated ability to document outcomes and present information in a mannerappropriate forkey stakeholders and all levels of the organization

Other Skills and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of lending technology platforms including LOS and quality control systems

  • Familiarity with software development practices and project management methodologies

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Strong technical aptitude analytical skills and troubleshooting of software systems

  • Ability to lead and support technical staff in a fast-paced environment

  • Adaptive to change responds positively to altered circumstances or conditions

  • Comfortable working with remote team members and third-party partners across multiple time zones using telecommunications
