Working pattern: Part-time term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave which will increase after 5 years continuous service)

We are looking for an Individual Needs Assistant to support a child with SEN. The role will be based within our High Needs Facility joining a team of Individual Needs Assistants supported by the HNF Lead and the Senior Leadership Team. Your time will be spent supporting the child in the classroom as well as in the HNF for some sessions. There is also the opportunity to add hours to the contract.
Previous experience of this kind of role will be an advantage but not essential. The successful candidate will be someone who is kind patient and able to take time to develop positive relationships with the children you work with. You should be someone who enjoys being positive and encouraging children resilient and able to adapt quickly to changing situations. You should have good literacy and maths skills. Above all the successful candidate will be committed to making a positive contribution to the school life of our pupils.
