The Role

As ourSoftware Engineer Game Frontend you will help shape the future of interactive physical gaming and realize Nexs very bold vision: Create the best motion games for hundreds of millions of people to play on.

You will be a key architect for our global content infrastructure architecting the systems that allow our games to reach international audiences. You will own the UI domain of our games moving beyond simple implementation to build scalable performant and pixel-perfect presentation layers inside the Unity engine.

You will partner closely with UI Designers and Artists (bridging the gap between Figma concepts and C# implementation) to deliver world-class experiences across our growing library of titles such asGoKeeper Tennis Smash: Racketville HomeRun Heroes: StarStrikers Bowling Strike and Basketball Knockout.

What Youll Do

  • Architect the foundational UI and Localization systems that will power our entire library of games ensuring code reusability and architectural consistency.
  • Partner with UI Designers to translate Figma concepts into functional pixel-perfect Unity implementations ensuring the final product matches the creative vision.
  • Draft technical strategy for modernizing our existing live titles refactoring legacy systems to support our new internationalization infrastructure.
  • Build and maintain a shared UI component library creating performant and responsive components that work seamlessly across different games.
  • Design the end-to-end localization pipeline solving complex internationalization challenges to support new languages at scale.
  • Develop custom tools and workflows within the Unity Editor to streamline the process for designers content creators translators removing friction from the development loop.
  • Drive performance optimization for the UI domain managing draw calls batching and memory usage to ensure high performance on all target devices.
  • Implement polished animations and micro-interactions that make the interface feel alive responsive and delightful to the user.
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to raise the bar for code quality and maintainability across the team.

Must Have

  • 3 years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and the Unity ecosystem.
  • Deep understanding of Unity frontend development (uGUI or UI Toolkit).
  • Familiar withasset managementstrategies (Addressables or Asset Bundles)
  • Experience withasynchronous programmingin Unity (UniTask async/await or coroutines).
  • Ability to write clean maintainable and performant code.

  • An obsession with code quality and a sense of personal ownership over the products final polish.
  • Experience implementing UI architectural patterns (MVVM MVC or MVP) to separate logic from presentation.

  • Genuine excitement for deep technical challenges such as optimizing UI performance managing draw calls or handling complex text rendering.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Localization pipelines (handling string keys pluralization rules or tools like Crowdin/I2).
