Product Security Engineer

As a Product Security Engineer you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our products throughout their lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams toidentifyand address potential security vulnerabilities design and implement robust security measures andadvocatesecurity best practices across the organization. • Be a part of a bleeding edge security engineeringorganizationwhich enables the agile development of secure and reliable applications and products.
• Embed security with product development teams to define and implement security requirements and best practicesintoproduct designs and architectures.
• Conduct thorough security assessments including penetration testing code reviews and threat modeling toidentifyand remediate potential security vulnerabilities.
• Partner with technology leaders toestablishmetrics thatdemonstratesecurityproficiencyacross product teams.
• Ensure processes associated with key systems are documentedmaintained and archived.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to develop the standardsfor productsecurity.
  
  
  

THE STATS
What were looking for in our next teammate

• Experience in product security engineering with a focus on web and mobile applications.
• Familiarity with security tools such as Nessus Burp and web application firewalls.
• Experience in secure coding practices security architecture and secure development methodologies.
• Experience in conducting security assessments including penetration testing vulnerability scanning code reviews and threat modeling.
• Knowledge of industry-standard security frameworks and regulations such as ISO 27001 NIST and OWASP.
• Software development experience in at least one modern programming language (Python Goetc) would be a strong plus
• Ability to communicate and influence inan ahighly distributed environment.

The applicable salary range for this position is $134000 - $176400 USD which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience location business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical vision and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation including but not limited to cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
