The Vet Office is supporting the recruitment of a confident and competent Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established small animal practice in Nottingham.
This role would suit a vet with a strong interest in soft tissue surgery and orthopaedics who is comfortable taking responsibility enjoys clinical autonomy and is keen to help develop and drive an existing caseload.
The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role within the veterinary team supporting both clinical activity and caseload development. The position will include:

A mix of consultations and surgical procedures

Strong focus on soft tissue surgery and orthopaedics
-
Responsibility for case continuity and follow-ups
-
Sole charge during evenings and weekends
-
Supporting and contributing to the ongoing development of the practices surgical caseload
Candidate Profile
-
Veterinary degree recognised in the UK and RCVS registration
-
Minimum of 3 years UK clinical experience with a strong surgical component
-
Confident in soft tissue surgery and comfortable with orthopaedic cases
-
Capable of working independently during sole-charge periods
-
Strong communication skills and a collaborative team-focused approach

Professional proactive and committed to high clinical standards
