NSC - Regional Account Manager (RAM) Asia Desk Amsterdam (Greater China)- Director
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated coverage banker to join our diverse and dynamic client-facing team of dedicated professionals.
As a Regional Account Manager (RAM) you will be part of the Asia Desk in Europe being responsible to originate develop and manage the relationship with EMEA based subsidiaries of clients headquartered in Greater China . You will work in close collaboration the Parent Account Managers (PAM) who are responsible for the client relationship at global level. You coordinate and collaborate with various Wholesale Banking products and client service teams to ensure that ING meets the clients needs are delivers a superior client experience.
The work environment:
Network Sector Coverage (NSC) is part of the ING Wholesale Banking Sector Coverage organization. The NSC organization across INGs international network is responsible for covering the international subsidiaries of INGs global clients. Within NSC Regional Account Managers operate as the first point of contact for the regional headquarters as well as key subsidiaries of multinational clients from INGs key countries where complexity the time difference and distance require regional coverage on the ground. Local Account Managers (LAM) is the first point of contact for the local subsidiaries of multinational companies in their respective country.
Your role
- You are responsible for developing new relationship in EMEA region with the prospected new clients as well as the relationship management of the assigned portfolio of existing clients
- Primary responsibility is to increase INGs market share and income in the Greater China client portfolio in the EMEA region
- In the CEE region you are supported by a RAM with specific focus on CEE who is functionally reporting to you
- You are acting as a bridge between the PAMs in Greater China and the LAMs across the EMEA network
- You are in charge of leading and orchestrating other ING departments including LAMs product teams risk management compliance and legal in order to optimally meet client needs and optimise cross-buy
- You proactively identify new business opportunities and originate transactions build and strengthen the relationship with customers and prospects
Your responsibilities:
- You are responsible for the financial performance of Greater China client portfolio in the EMEA region with a focus on revenue and customer satisfaction
- Ensure delivery of the required products and services efficiently and in close co-operation with PAM RAM CEE LAM product and clients service teams
- Identify new business origination opportunitiesand expand the relationship with existing and new clients
- Ensure that the portfolio operates with an acceptable risk tolerance and adhere to regulatory parameters
- Monitor the returns on the assigned clients on a portfolio basis analyse trends make suggestions to improve coverage efficiency and/or optimising the growth potential
- Share knowledge and foster a culture of collaboration and inclusiveness client focus continuous improvement and innovation in line with INGs Orange Code.
- Actively contribute to the development and implementation of EMEA NSC strategy
- Closely collaborate with other team members share responsibilities and participate in other team initiatives and/or projects
Who are we looking for
- Experienced banker (min. 10-12 years of relevant experience) with commercial track-record specially developing international business for large corporates in the Greater China region preferably (but not mandatory) including 5-year experience in Greater China
- Master degree in Economics/Finance Management Law or comparable
- Native Chinese speaker
- Leadership experience
- Strong commercial drive ability to identify new business opportunities
- Enthusiastic person with high level of self-motivation and atalent for taking it on and making ithappen
- Profound knowledge of core banking products good understanding of daily banking and services and basic sense of risk management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to be able to work and co-ordinate efficiently in a multiple stakeholder environment
- International mindset and cultural sensitivity as well as a highly collaborative personality with strong team player attitude to be able to work with in a multi-country international environment
- Entrepreneurial flair in order to come up with new ideas innovation and have a broad perspective
