Were hiring a Senior Software Engineer Cloud Infrastructure to take ownership of how our platform is built deployed secured and kept alive at scale.

This is not a keep-the-lights-on ops role. Youll sit right at the crossroads of software engineering platform engineering SRE and release engineering shaping how cloud services are designed automated and operated from day one. Your work will directly influence reliability security developer velocity and customer trust.

What youll be doing

• Design build and operate cloud-native infrastructure on AWS using Kubernetes and serverless services
• Develop and maintain automation using AWS Lambda infrastructure-as-code and deployment pipelines
• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines used by multiple engineering teams
• Act as an internal platform partner - supporting engineering teams with clear communication and pragmatic solutions
• Build and maintain automation using Terraform (preferred) or equivalent tools
• Improve observability and reliability across services using metrics logs and tracing
• Work hands-on with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB ensuring performance scalability and reliability
• Operate and optimise Amazon OpenSearch (Serverless) for search and analytics workloads
• Ensure infrastructure and processes meet ISO27001 and SOC2 compliance requirements
• Troubleshoot production issues across Linux-based environments with confidence and clarity

What you bring

• Hands-on experience with AWS including Kubernetes and serverless services (Lambda)
• Strong background in infrastructure automation (Terraform CloudFormation or similar)
• Experience designing and supporting internal platforms used by multiple engineering teams
• Proficiency in strongly typed languages (Golang Java Rust C# etc.) and scripting languages (Python Bash)
• Practical experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
• Working knowledge of ISO27001 and SOC2-compliant environments
• Strong communication skills especially when supporting engineers as internal customers
• Solid understanding of Linux systems debugging and performance analysis

Nice to have

• Experience with Amazon OpenSearch (Serverless)
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and AWS-native services
• Participation in incident response and post-incident reviews
