What youll be doing

CIBC CRTeX (Client Real-time Experience) is a strategic program which will enable highly personalized client experiences through the right channels and through a lifetime journey with products service and advice that empowers their ambitions. As a Senior Consultant Business Enablement & Governance (CRTeX) you will provide support in managing operational risk regulatory compliance and business governance for CRTeX and related portfolios. You will be responsible for identifying and implementing robust controls to ensure compliance with policies and standards. You will also support the design development and execution of the program strategies. You will collaborate closely with Digital Banking ECRM and partners across the bank to ensure alignment with governance standards policies and operational frameworks. Responsibilities will span the development and execution of integrated control improvement solutions management of key controls to mitigate potential losses and the facilitation of key operational programs that drive a strong employee culture and continuous improvement. Components of the role also include quantifying opportunities and creating executive-level analysis communication and frameworks to ensure effective decision-making.

How youll succeed

• Governance & Operational Risk You have strong familiarity and proficiency with the governance and risk framework within CIBC and apply this knowledge to independently manage operational risk activities for CRTeX. Develop and implement integrated control improvement solutions across all products and distribution channels.

• Risk Assessment/Remediation You will work closely with the LOB partners to proactively identify risk exposures and control gaps and to analyze and synthesize risk exposures. You will propose recommendations to mitigate risk exposures/control gaps. Change Initiative Risk Assessment(CIRA) process ensuring all material risks are identified and compliant to the CIBC CIRA policy and process.

• Stakeholder & Relationship Management Build and manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels influencing outcomes and ensuring alignment on strategy marketing governance and operational matters. Keep senior management apprised of material and emerging risks and recommend mitigation strategies. Peer mentoring and indirect people leadership; influencing coaching and negotiation with LOB 2nd and 3rd Line of Defense as well as with product teams and project delivery groups. Act as a key relationship manager liaising with stakeholders at all levels to coordinate audit compliance and risk review activities as well as to identify and deliver strategic program opportunities.

• Understanding Clients Lead qualitative and quantitative research and journey mapping to develop a deep understanding of our clients needs and inform how we attract engage and retain our clients.

• Data Analysis Leverage our data to identify trendsand deep client insights for the segment to form a view on how and which new clients to attract to CIBC.

• Problem Solving Develop creative solutions to complex challenges considering alternatives and implications.

• Reporting & Analysis Analyze risk exposures root causes and control gaps synthesize findings and recommend mitigation strategies. Develop and present reports summarizing control testing results project status and key operational insights to leadership. Present information clearly and concisely at all organizational levels.
