Position Overview
As a Software Engineer III youll be building and integrating web and mobile apps that real people use. Youll work with our core tech stack Java JavaScript and AWS; and help expand our CI/CD pipelines and automation efforts.
Youll be part of an Agile SCRUM team working closely with colleagues mentoring junior developers and leading key initiatives.
Youll collaborate with teams across the company to deliver impactful solutions. Plus youll help architect test and deploy enterprise-level applications for clients across North America all while having plenty of opportunities to grow.

Stage 1: 30-minute Recruiter Interview
Well dive into your professional background and experience share more about SpryPoint and the role and answer any burning questions you might have.
Stage 2: 30-minutes Hiring Manager Interview with Maryam Vahedi Software Engineering Manager
This is a great opportunity to discuss your career goals and high-level technical experience and to learn how we can support your growth and aspirations.
Stage 3: Take Home Skills Assignment
Were flexible! You can set the deadline that works best for you to complete the take-home coding assessment. We use TestDome and the test needs to be done in one sitting. It includes live coding and multiple-choice questions focusing on Java and JavaScript. Were not looking for perfection; were interested in how you approach problem-solving.
Stage 4: 1-hour Technical Interview
If the assessment goes well youll move on to the technical interview. Youll get to meet our Software Engineering Manager (Maryam) and a Team Lead. This is a great opportunity to show off your technical skills. We value collaboration so well discuss the assessment together. Were interested not just in your final solution but also in your thought process and how you got there.
Stage 5: 45-minutes Final Interview with Jason Director of Software Development
This is your chance to discuss your career goals and learn how we can support your growth and aspirations.
Stage 6: References/Offer
Well check your references to confirm all the great things weve learned about you. If all goes well well be thrilled to extend an offer and welcome you to the team!
