Job Description

We are seeking a highly autonomous and versatile Lead Integration & AI Automation Engineer to design and implement this program. This role is focused on the full lifecycle of a -based batch application that blends deep experience in web resilience and data extraction with Google Cloud AI engineering. The successful candidate must also excel at requirements gathering and project management.

1. Data Acquisition & Resilience (Risk Mitigation: External Site Volatility)

Advanced Web Interaction: Expert-level proficiency in either direct API integration (REST) or Robotic Process Automation (RPA)-style web scraping using libraries like Puppeteer or Playwright.
Core Skills: Strong command of asynchronous programming paradigms in (async/await) essential for high-volume concurrent I/O operations.
Anti-Fragile Design: Proven ability to develop web extractors that account for common failures including rate limiting / cost control session management dynamic web content and HTML structure changes.

2. Google Cloud & AI/ML Integration (Risk Mitigation: AI Output Reliability)

Vertex AI: Hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions using Vertex AI for Generative AI tasks
Prompt Engineering: Proven ability to engineer and fine-tune prompts to reliably perform specific business tasks such as summarizing long tender documents and extracting key decision points.
GCP Fundamentals: Strong practical knowledge of core GCP services for hosting and logging: Cloud Run Jobs or Cloud Functions orchestration using Google Workflow Cloud Logging / Monitoring and Secret Manager.

3. Workflow Automation & DevOps Tooling (Risk Mitigation: Operational Efficiency)

Batch Application Design: Experience designing and deploying fully parameterized batch applications that can be run on a configurable schedule or manually triggered.
Google Sheets API: Mandatory experience with the Google Sheets API for structured high-volume data appending.
DevOps / CI/CD (Critical): Direct hands-on experience setting up CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions for automated testing and deployment to Google Cloud (GCP).
IaC: Useful to understand the use of Terraform since it will be used for deployment.
Interpersonal & Project Management Skills (Critical Success Factors)
Stakeholder Communication (Business Alignment):
Good verbal English communication skills are mandatory.
Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical business colleagues.
Requirements Elicitation & Story Mapping:
Ability to proactively engage with Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to elicit define and refine user stories and map the complete tender selection workflow.
Prompt Engineering & Collaboration:
Strong collaborative skills to work directly with business users to develop test and iterate on AI prompts to ensure the final output is directly useful to the human decision-makers.
Self-Management & Reporting:
Must be a highly self-motivated autonomous individual capable of managing the project end-to-end.
Required to maintain and deliver concise weekly progress reports outlining milestones achieved next steps and potential blockers or scope risks.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on backend technologie ();
Proficiency in HTML CSS and JavaScript with a solid understanding of front-end frameworks and libraries;
Experience with frontend technologies TypeScript and React ();
Experience with backend technologies including PostgreSQL and GraphQL;
Familiarity with version control systems particularly Git and CI/CD tools such as GitHub and GitHub Actions for collaborative development;
Knowledge of RESTful API design principles and best practices;
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a teamenvironment;
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written;
A proactive attitude and a passion for learning new technologies and methodologies.
