We are looking for an experienced self-motivated Safey Tech to join our team. This position will involve working outside in extreme weather conditions exposure to loud noises and abnormal odors confined space work and working in areas with overhead activities.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and audits
Identify unsafe conditions and behaviors and recommend corrective actions
Enforce OSHA company and site-specific safety policies
Assist with site-specific safety plans and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
Lead daily safety meetings toolbox talks and orientations
Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Investigate incidents near misses and accidents
Prepare safety reports logs and documentation
Assist with emergency response planning and drills
Monitor subcontractor safety compliance
Coordinate safety training and certifications
Maintain safety signage and jobsite postings
Support drug-free workplace and compliance programs

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED (required)
OSHA 30 certification (required)
1 years of construction safety experience (commercial preferred)
Knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety regulations
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to identify hazards and implement solutions
Comfortable working in active construction environments
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation

Preferred Qualifications

OSHA 510 / OSHA 500 certification
CPR/First Aid certification
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Experience in mechanical electrical or industrial construction
Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis
Familiarity with safety management systems (SMS)
