Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant with 23 years of accounting experience to support daily financial operations reporting and month-end close activities. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with numbers staying organized and being part of a supportive and collaborative accounting team.
What Youll Do-
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts related to inventory cost of goods sold (COGS) and revenue

Assist with monthly and year-end close processes

Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts

Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts
-
Reconcile vendor statements and assist with accounts payable
-
Prepare sales and expense reports for management

Support pricing margin and cost analysis
-
Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules
-
Process payroll and sales commission
-
Help ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls

Assist in budgeting and forecasting

Work cross-functionally with sales operations and purchasing
-
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
-
23 years of accounting experience preferably in wholesale distribution or retail

Understanding of inventory accounting and cost of goods sold

Experience with accounting or ERP systems such as QuickBooks NetSuite SAP or Oracle
-
Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
-
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills

Experience with high-volume transactions

Knowledge of inventory costing methods such as FIFO or weighted average
$25.00 $28.00 per hour
