Centerpoint is a 16-bed Intensive Residential Treatment Program (IRTP) for emotionally disturbed adolescent males. The primary mission of Centerpoint is the treatment and rehabilitation of adolescent males with mental illness and challenging behaviors. Centerpoint provides a secure clinically intensive residential program that enhances growth and coping skills. The programs ultimate goal is to enable each resident to attain optimal psychological and social growth; to transition to a less restrictive setting and eventually into the greater community.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $26.00 to $32.00âper hour. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience education licensure certifications and qualifications. âThis range may be modified in the future.â

Schedule: This is a part-time position with late afternoon and early evening availability required.

Requirements:ââ

  • Must be at least 21 years or older.
  • Bachelors degree (or progress towards) in a human service/criminal justice field are preferred.
  • Experience: previous work with adolescents a plus but not required. Experience in providing respectful relevant spiritual guidance to persons of different faiths/beliefs.
  • Knowledgeable in growth and development of children and adolescents as they explore various religions and moral and ethical issues that arise during this journey understanding of the range of transitional needs of clients as they work to discharge back into the community.
  • Ability to communicate successful integration of spiritual and clinical work to staff and identify problem areas and corresponding supportive actions necessary for the successful transition into the family/home environment.
  • Ability to take initiative and be self-motivated when offering worship services religious education and spiritual guidance.
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed.
