Role description:

As a Construction Manager you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of our projects partnering closely with Arcadis team to ensure a seamless flow from the Planning phase through to Commissioning.

This position places you front and center as the clients representative on-site where you will collaborate with all stakeholders to uphold the highest standards of quality timeliness and operational efficiency.

Your expertise will be instrumental in navigating the complexities of the construction process as you will have comprehensive access to all project documentation enabling you to proactively address challenges and determine the most suitable experts to consult when specialized knowledge is required.

Role accountabilities:

• Coordination of executive/construction design activities;
• Supporting operational management;
• Verification and control of site accounting;
• Verification of material submission form and construction drawings;
• Drafting of construction site reports;
• Monitoring GANTT and construction budget;
• Monitoring and control of construction site activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience;
• Around 4-7 years of construction management experience;
• An excellent level of English (B2 / C1) and a good level of Italian (B2);
• Ability to travel autonomously;
• Knowledge and experience in MEP and firefighting disciplines will be considered a plus;
• Proven construction management experience in Data Center will be considered a plus;
• Good knowledge and experience with project management procedures will be considered a plus;
• Professional accreditations (PE AIA CCM CPC PMP LEED or equivalent) will be considered a plus.
• Frequent site presence will be required. Projects are based in Milan hinterland.
